2 Corinthians 5:17 ; Ephesians 5:8-11

Let us dive into the Word of God. In these two letters, Paul addresses the Corinthian and Ephesian Churches. Here, the apostle Paul talks about something we all can use- "Transformation and Renewal." Paul would know about both. Once, the apostle Paul, then called Saul of Tarsus, was a zealous persecutor of those who followed Jesus Christ. In these ancient times of the early church, the ministry of Jesus Christ was called "The Way."Paul's encounter with Christ would transform him into one of Christ's chief church builders. Paul, like most of us thought that by pursuing followers of "The Way," he was doing the right thing in his life. Paul viewed his actions as a holy pursuit sanctioned by God.

At least until he met the Lord on the road to Damascus, he ran smack dab into the powerful light of the Lord. We become the light once we have a personal encounter and connect with Jesus Christ. We cannot ever go back. We cannot "un-know" or "un-feel" the warmth of this light. We are filled with the love of God. We are now WITNESSES4CHRIST. I stress again that we can never return to who we used to be. We can run, but we cannot hide. Things in our life will never be the same. Life will appear more problematic, but it is not random bad luck. The darkness we were once happily living in does not mean we were bad people. Some of us may have been pretty bad, but that is not the point. The point is because of that darkness, we could not see what God has for us. We stumble in the darkness, trying to find our purpose, or maybe we embrace anything the world pushes upon us. In the darkness, we fall repeatedly with no idea why. Once we become the light in Christ Jesus, we must demonstrate this. We must advocate for all that is good, true, and holy. In our walk with Christ, we will assuredly struggle and fall. The difference is when you do fall now; it is a learning experience, correction, or preparation for who God has called us to be. We pray for blessings and miracles but are unwilling to embrace the reality that God acts supernaturally in our lives only when the task is so monumental and overwhelming that it becomes painfully clear that we are inadequate and ill-equipped to handle things. This is when God can be God in our lives. This realization takes spiritual transformation and renewal. Through Jesus Christ, we are a "new creature." Fully embrace the depth of this reality, and we will witness countless miracles in your life. We are now WITNESSES4CHRIST!

Good Bless you.
